Overview
The Blast Wheel, also known as a shot blasting wheel, is the main equipment of an airlessshot blasting machine. It comprises a high-speed wheel turning around, throwing abrasive media, which can be steel shots or grit, to the workpiece. An electric motor starts the wheel, which drives grit through a centrifugal method that leads to a very high speed, successfully stripping, roughing, or modifying the surface of the material. This system prevents compressed air usage, which makes it more energy-efficient and also is suitable for heavy-duty blasting applications in different types of industries.
